Top Moonstones are 4mm in diameter.
Bottom Moonstones are 7mm in diameter.

MATERIALS: Tests as Silver with 18ct Gold posts & butterfly backs, Moonstones.

STAMPS: 750 on later added butterfly backs.
HALLMARKS: Since we have dated this piece as being made before 1950, a hallmark is not required in order for it to be sold in line with UK hallmarking legislation.

VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT. These antique Moonstone drop earrings are in wonderful condition throughout. The Moonstones are smoothly domed and secure within their bezels, with only minor wear on the back of one of the bottom Moonstones. The Silver is lustrous and the later added posts and butterfly backs allow you to wear these wonderful Victorian earrings comfortably and confidently!
